In Which Situations Should Smile Design with Zirconium Veneers Be Done?
In this presentation, we will talk about Zirconium coatings, which are frequently used in today's dental treatments.
Zirconium material is preferred in cases where the loss of material that requires complete coating of the tooth is excessive. Contrary to popular belief, zirconium coatings cannot be used in laminate cases that require less preparation because they cannot be chemically bonded to the teeth.
In this case, after the general evaluation and photographs of our patient, worn-out restorations and caries due to early childhood treatments were detected in most of the upper jaw teeth.
In line with both aesthetic and functional needs, it was decided to apply smile design with Zirconium-supported porcelains.
